    “Who’s on this?”

If your team has ever asked, “Who’s working on this feedback?”, we’ve got great news.

You told us you needed a better way to assign, organize, and take action.

Today, we’re releasing one of our most requested features: Issue Assignees.

More ways to manage feedback, right inside Marker.io

While many of you love using Marker.io to send feedback directly to Jira, Trello, Asana, and other tools, you also want better collaboration and triage workflows before pushing issues to your tracker.

Our goal is to make Marker.io a lightweight service desk for your websites.

We recently rolled out powerful features like User @Mentions and Issue Types.

Now, we’re going one step further with Assignees — so every issue has a clear owner.

    How it works

Think of your issue list like a triage inbox, built to show exactly who’s responsible and what still needs to be done.

Users now get access to four views:

    • 📬 Open – All unresolved issues
    • 👤 Assigned to me – Issues you’re responsible for
    • Unassigned – Issues without an owner
    • 📁 All issues – Includes resolved & archived feedback

    Assigning is simple:

    • From the issue page (click the assignee field or hit A)
    • From the issue list, on any row
    • In bulk — select multiple issues and assign at once

Once assigned, users automatically become followers of the issue and receive notifications when:

    • They’re assigned
    • Someone comments
    • The issue is resolved

    And for ultra-fast workflows:

If you reply to a reporter, you’re automatically assigned — unless someone else already owns the issue.

    Why Assignees matter

    Clear ownership = Faster resolution

When every piece of feedback has an owner, things move.

    → Less ambiguity, more accountability.

    Cleaner triage process

Assign issues to the right person, without leaving Marker.io.

→ Smooth handoffs between devs, designers & PMs.

    Know who’s working on what

Filter by assignee and instantly see what’s blocking progress.

→ Perfect for team leads and project managers.

    Keep everyone in the loop

No more “Who’s working on this?” moments.

→ Easier collaboration and better visibility for the whole team.

    What’s next?

Assignees are just one step in our mission to make Marker.io the best lightweight service desk for your websites.
